What to Expect

One-on-One Treatment - ALWAYS

After an individualized, detailed evaluation, an experienced licensed physical therapist will develop a plan of care to suit the specific needs of each patient.  We emphasize a “hands-on” approach with a commitment to patient education and injury prevention.  Our philosophy is that continuity of care and one-on-one attention will achieve quicker and long lasting benefits.  We have private treatment rooms and a positive atmosphere.

Our treatment may include the following:

  • Manual Therapy

Manual techniques are the cornerstone of our physical therapy care. Our therapists have advanced training in soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, positional release, strain-counterstrain, and assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques (Astym Treatment).  Having extra time at each visit and a hands-on philosophy leads to a rapid recovery.

  • Therapeutic Exercise

Customized stretching, strengthening, and core stabilization exercise programs are provided with an emphasis on “function” targeting specific deficits and imbalances.  Therapeutic exercises are prescribed to achieve specific goals and overall well-being.

  • Modalities

Our therapists are trained in using ultrasound, electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, hot and cold treatments, and dry needling as part of rehabilitation.

  • Video Gait Analysis

Our professional video gait analysis will assess running style, movements patterns, and identify certain biomechanical abnormalities that can lead to injury.  This advanced clinical assessment tool is effective to assist in diagnosis and improve running performance.
